Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using Outdoor Statement event services, registration portals, and race timing systems.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Outdoor Statement ("Outdoor Statement", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our event management platform, participant registration gateways, race result publications, and virtual athletic tracking portals. By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an event, submitting payment, or submitting virtual run proof, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms along with our Privacy Policy. If you are registering on behalf of another participant or minor, you represent that you possess the requisite legal authority to act on their behalf.
3. User Accounts & Registration Integrity
To guarantee fair competition and bib attribution, you agree to:
- Provide authentic, precise legal names and emergency contact details.
- Safeguard your registration code (e.g. REG-XXXX) and refrain from sharing verification credentials.
- Promptly notify customer support in the event of suspected unauthorized registration transfer.
4. Event Registration Policies
Capacity Limits: Slots are allocated strictly on a verified payment arrival sequence. Unpaid registration slots are forfeited after the announced reservation window.
Route & Schedule Adjustments: Event organizers hold the prerogative to amend course routes, wave launch times, or cutoffs for safety reasons.
Health & Waiver: Every athlete is strictly obligated to verify their medical fitness and complete the digital liability waiver prior to kit claiming.
5. Payments & Invoicing
All transactions are settled in Philippine Peso (PHP ₱). Payments are processed through secure accredited gateways (Maya, GCash, Credit/Debit cards). Official registration receipts with unique reference codes are issued instantly upon gateway confirmation.
6. Refund & Transfer Rules
Unless expressly stipulated in an event's specific charter:
- Confirmed registration payments are strictly non-refundable once allocated.
- Bib transfers or distance upgrades are subject to organizer approval windows and may incur administrative processing fees.
- In force majeure situations (typhoons, safety advisories), the race organizer's published rescheduling policy supersedes generic guidelines.
7. User Code of Conduct
Users are strictly prohibited from submitting manipulated GPX telemetry files, falsified app screenshots, or bandit running under an unregistered bib. Violators are disqualified from official leaderboards and barred from future listings.
8. Intellectual Property
All design frameworks, branding assets, timing software components, and media galleries belong to Outdoor Statement or partnered organizers and are protected under Philippine and international copyright laws.
9. Limitation of Liability & Health Disclaimer
Athletic activities carry inherent physical risks. Participants assume full personal responsibility for bodily injury, property damage, or physiological distress arising during in-person or virtual events. Outdoor Statement shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any litigation or dispute resolution shall fall exclusively under competent jurisdiction courts in the Philippines.
