ECO RUN - La Union Series

The ECO RUN La Union Series: The 6 Elements of Nature, a multi-stage fitness and advocacy campaign that weaves environmental sustainability with the vibrant heritage of La Union Province. Designed to showcase the region’s breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural identity, each leg of the series embodies one of nature’s foundational elements across six distinct municipalities: Rosario as Plant, celebrating lush mountains and agrarian traditions; Tubao as Light, shining a spotlight on spiritual heritage and community pride; Aringay as wood is deeply intertwined with the town’s history, cultural identity, and traditional livelihood; Agoo as water because it is the foundational element that showcases the beautiful stretch of beach at The Agoo Eco Park that shaped the identity, history, and ecology of the municipality of Agoo: Naguilian as Rock, symbolizing enduring resilience, mountain passes, and craft heritage; and Bacnotan as Fire, reflecting the passion of its people and the warm warmth of its coastal communities. Together, these six runs offer participants more than just a race—they invite runners and tourists on an immersive journey through the heart, spirit, and biodiversity of La Union.
